County unemployment rates across Washington are all below 6%.

The state Employment Security Department’s map of county unemployment rates shows relatively low unemployment across the state. The statewide rate is 4.1%; the highest rate shown is Ferry County’s 5.7%, with Pacific County and Grays Harbor close behind. 

In the metropolitan Puget Sound region, Snohomish County’s 5.1% stands out, well above King and Pierce.
